Cocogrow Brick – For the maximum yield of a brick of coir immerse the brick in water at a rate of 6-8 litres per kilo. The warmer the water the faster it will absorb, we recommend water temperature of 50-60C (122-140F). This will hydrate the brick in a very short time, however, allow around 20-40min for the Brick to completely absorb the water, using your hands to break up any parts of the brick to allow faster absorption and expansion. Once hydrated drain off the surplus water.
Be careful not to use boiling water, or burn your hands if mixing the coir.
Cocogrow Pure/Fusion – These are ready to use out of the bag.
CocoGrow Bag – Lay out a plastic floor covering and position the CocoGrow Bags as desired. Poke your dripper through the plastic to hydrate the coir slab with the recommended solution. Once hydrated, cut holes for plants and drainage slits. To allow plenty of drainage make vertical cuts (2-3cm/1") on each side of the slab by running the knife up from the base. Place your Stone wool/cube or bottomless pot with plant on top of slab. Place your dripper into the Stone wool/cube or bottomless pot.
